The State Tournament culminates the end of the Forensics Season at the State House in Montpelier, VT. Students compete in both Senate and House Chambers, as well as some of the smaller committee rooms. It is quite an experience for many of them just to have the opportunity to visit the State House while competing in such a prestigous tournament such as this one.

There is also a special "Power Round" where the scores of the top competitors are wiped clean and judges solely rank them 1st, 2nd, etc. based solely on the performance of that round.
